Plot Summary
Every morning, first-year student Taiki Inomata rushes to his school gym to practice his badminton. But what really drives him is sharing the gym with Chinatsu Kano, his crush and the star of the girls' basketball team. Even though Chinatsu seems hard to approach, Taiki takes small steps to learn more about her.
What Taiki doesn’t know is that his dedication inspires Chinatsu to work even harder and chase her dreams. When her family suddenly has to move abroad for work, Chinatsu chooses to stay in Japan and aim for success in national competitions. With no place to stay, Taiki's mom, who is friends with Chinatsu’s family, invites her to live with them. Now, Taiki is excited yet nervous to be living with the girl he likes. He decides to take on the challenge of competing at the national level in his sport to get closer to her.
However, even though Taiki has caught his coach's attention, he still faces a tough road to earn a spot on the starting team. With encouragement from Chinatsu and his childhood friend, gymnast Hina Chouno, Taiki aims to make his mark among the strong upperclassmen.
