Plot Summary

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami's Mystery Fantasy manga is set in two different timelines: the 'past' in the year 2006 and 'present' some twelve years later. Fast forward to the present timeline, the world is in chaos. Dreadful curses from the negative energy of people are piling up and damaging the environment and here students as well as sorcerers are working day and night to eliminate these ghouls. And in the midst of these fights, Sadoru Gojo as well as other sorcerers, attempt to save as many innocents as possible. The biggest and most powerful sorcerer has unwittingly become the most wanted target for destruction for an unbelievably powerful ancient cursed spirit.

With the bindings placed on the spirit, it could do no harm, but in its free form, it could obliterate islands. Hence, to distract the strongest sorcerer, Gojou, a plan was set in motion. Shibuya Station was the location radios were relaying that Gojou would die in the end of the gorgon battling the strong sorcerer... far from the insatiable loath he had expected. Gojo was forced to split his battalion of sorcerers to achieve the goal of saving Gojo and the innocent people along with the other kind. Unquestionably, the brilliant plan devised at Shibuya was a win-win. Akutami has new goals ahead: to sate the lantern of the curse with the elimination of as many people as possible.
